Yes, Windows 98...
...on this beauty here. A 1999 Dell Dimension XPS T500. It's still working great after all of these years, and hopefully for many more years to come. This one's mostly for my old Windows 9X games. One of these days, I'll have to show the rest of my fleet of computers.

I remember windows 95, as a kid my dad would prop me in front of his old IBM Aptiva so I could play with the flying toaster screensaver. I was easily entertained as a child.

I had that same computer for a looong time. It finally fried itself somehow. Reliable little computer.

We had the 15" version of that monitor/speaker set. Still got the monitor, I think. Good times.

I kind of wish I had a older comp (XP though) so I could install some of my older games. Like the X-wing series (X-wing, TIE Fighter, and X-wing Alliance) those games are amazing, but it is such a pain in the ass to get them to work on a new machine (they will not install through the default wizard so it gets tricky).

Dosbox my friend! As long as it ran on a main microsoft distro like 95/98 and so on, you'll be fine. I've been trying to get Sim tower to run on my computer for forever, but that game was made to run with Windows 3, so it's been a bit of a pain in the ass.

If you've ever heard of gog.com, (good old games) they sell a lot of older games, the vast majority of them for under 10 bucks, and they all come prepackaged with dosbox in their .exe

This is the 19" version. It's a great monitor, all 55 lbs of it.

I've had good luck with Virtualbox and Microsoft Virtual Machine 2007 in the past. I've had everything from XP to Windows 3.1 running as a guest without an issue.

Speaking of SimTower...
My Dosbox (a Gateway2000 from 1995 running Windows 3.1) is not a very compact solution.
I've had SimTower running on XP already, but haven't had luck on anything newer.

They are pretty upgradable, too. A friend of mine is running XP quite well on his.

We used Windows 95 in elementary school. I have many fond memories messing around on them with friends.

I had an XPS T450 and a T550. The T450 shorted out on me but I upgraded the T550 to 1GHz and 768mb RAM. I used it daily until 2011 when I donated it to someone. LOVED that machine.
